Pride: Carpet Question

Question:

I did not see the humor in a few of the replies to her concern. At least this is something she can do something about, I guess others in this group can take care of world peace and hunger. Someone already said to call Carnival but I don’t think that info is any good either. You’ll get a different answer each time you call since not many of the CCL reps have ever seen the inside of the Pride I would venture to guess. Maybe she could post the same question on cruisecritics Carnival board. 75% of the board is about the Pride. You might get a more definitive answer there. http://messages.cruisecritic.com/2/OpenTopic?q=Y&a=frm&s=927093444&f=… 54 Bill<——-smiling away :-) ))))))))))))))))))

You can’t fool me, Stephan.  There is no Sekrit Kabal and you are really not a member. :-) Ermalee <—also not a member – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text ->is something she can do something about, I guess others in this group can take >care of world peace and hunger. Dress in white…….if you can still claim virginity. If not, who gives a crap? Relax. I have 30 years of marriage under me corset and the least important thing is what colors I wore at me wedding.

Hi Stephan, I wonder what ever happened to them. <vbg> Best regards, Ray LIGHTHOUSE TRAVEL 800-719-9917 or 805-566-3905 http://www.lighthousetravel.com

Karen, For all of Carnival’s wild props, multicolored blinking lights, and "interesting" choices of colors and patterns, their carpets are fairly tame. I find it interesting that someone would choose Carnival and worry about clashing, which is sort of the aim of Farcus’ Carnival creations. Perhaps, thought, the chapel is fairly toned down? Response:

The chapel on the Pride is very small and well decorated.  As a Bride, all the guest will only be looking at you anyway. GO have a great honeymoon, Don’t sweat the small stuff.  You will have a great wedding. My niece was married on the Fantasy. On that ship they were married in the library.Nobody noticed all the books. Carnival does a good job with weddings. Best of luck Brentstell

What’s wrong with a  bride wanting to make her wedding as perfect as she can? Isn’t it nice to have these little details to concern ourselves with and do something about, in the face of the bigger problems of the world, which we can do little about? Lighten up, and give this bride a break. As someone else suggested, I’d contact your wedding consultant – they’ll probably have an anser for you. I wouldn’t try to "match" the decor – maybe pick a complementary color. Best of luck to you. Mazel Tov! Lee

Response:

Yikes, I guess "brides" can get a bit cranky. She is overly concerned with the carpet, and she rude to boot.  Not to mention, she was rude to Lee, who has the *best* pictures of this carpet, that she is so overly concerned about.  Bad move, Michelle. Please help me if you can. I am getting married in the chapel of the Carnival Pride. All the pictures I have seen show the carpet with royal blue in it but… I can’t tell if the rest of the carpet and the walls are pink, coral, or orange. I’m not sure what color bridesmaid dresses to choose because I can’t figure out the colors of the chapel. I don’t want anything to clash. Please give me any information that you can. Thank you!

If you were planing a wedding, you would worry about these things. Michael & Karen – Call the cruise line and talk to whoever helped you plan the wedding. I think someone should be able to answer your question. sue
